Bellevue High School Wolverines to play in Texas!
September 11th, 2009 by admin

The Bellevue High School Wolverines will be heading to Texas to face back to back 5A Division II state champion Katy High School. Texas is known for living and breathing high school football so of course a big crowd is expected to fill the 10,000 seats at Jack Rhodes Memorial Stadium on Saturday.

Bellevue High School coaches have been preparing the team for this face off by bombarding them with noise, but nothing will be the same as the sound they will hear at kick off.

The Wolverines are known for overcoming the odds and achieving victory, shown by their 2004 victory ending De La Salle High’s 151-game winning streak and their upset over Long Beach Poly in ‘05.

“Everybody on this team is pumped about the opportunity that we have,” senior lineman Julious Moore said. “Not only are we representing ourselves, but we’re representing Washington football.”

Good Luck Bellevue on your journey we will all be here in Washington rooting you on!
