First, a disclaimer, we realize that educating children is a tough job and running a school district, setting policy and monitoring success is a herculean task. We are thankful to be in an area that has schools and programs as good as those in Bellevue. It is not our intention to only point out the negative; nor, is it our intention to pretend that we have better solutions to the issues we discuss here (although sometimes, we may… ). We believe we have very good, smart, dedicated people running our district and that many things they do are excellent, even world-class.

With that said, we, the founders of this site, are educators that work at or own the Tutoring Club in Bellevue. We are also parents of  kids in the district. Everyday, happenings in Bellevue School District, both positive and negative, are brought to our attention and we hope to use this forum to discuss them. We’re hoping that others, maybe even some from inside the district, will see the value in this discussion and will become regular readers and contributors. It certainly isn’t necessary to share our views to contribute.
